Looks like another reviewer Connie Young had the same sales rep as I did! Visited these guys a couple years ago to get an idea on what the cost would be for a car and had a rather unpleasant experience. First made contact through their online sales rep, showed up later that day and he couldn't remember who I was or why I was there, even though I had made an appointment. They didn't even have the model I was asking about on hand. He handed me off to another sales rep, where I again explained why I was there and made it known that I was not looking to leave with a brand new car that day, which he seemed to understand. From there on he got progressively pushy and used some odd delay tactic where he would "check with the manager" to get some special rate several times, making me wait 15-20 minutes at one point before he returned, as if he hoped this would make me change my mind about buying a car on the spot without test driving it. When he finally accepted that fact, he went to retrieve the key to my car (another 10 minutes). As I got in my car to leave, I could clearly see him through the window in front of me literally whining to a coworker about how awful I must have been for not buying a car from him that day. I was surprised when he had the nerve to call me a week later to see if I had reconsidered. Needless to say, when I did need to buy a car later in the year they were not considered.

This was my first experience purchasing a Mazda and working with Tom Roush. After looking at other dealer locations, I settled on the Tom Roush facility for three primary reasons. 1. They had a decent stock selection of the vehicle I wanted 2. The Tom Roush Mazda dealership is within my community and I felt a sense of loyalty during these tough times to support a local business. 3. I liked the free car wash option when purchasing a vehicle at Tom Roush. The purchase experience went well with the help of two Tom Roush employees. Lee Wildermuth in Sales and Tarek Rahmany in Finance. Both of which did a nice job of explaining the process well. The vehicle is nice and looking forward to the summer. Hope to see Tom Roush hang in there during these difficult days of business.
