My wife and I bought a 2018 Grand Caravan from Tom Roush in April. We found the vehicle we wanted and were happy with the price we negotiated, but our overall experience has been disappointing from a company that stands on a 4.7 star rating and what they claim is 52 years of great customer service. It was important to us that we bought a reliable van for our family, and after asking our salesman more than once for the service record, Freddy did give us a copy. With each question we asked, he assured us, “This is a reliable van and we only sell vehicles that have passed rigorous quality tests.” Lots of promises. A few hours after my wife picked up the van, the check engine light came on. I reached out to Freddy to see what solutions he had for us given we bought it that day and his response was short, “I can’t promise I can do anything but I can have our service department look at it.” I lost all confidence in that moment and I wasn’t about to make the hour plus drive to have them “look at it,” so I took it to my local mechanic whom I trust. The service diagnostic revealed two engine evap codes. In short, a rodent chewed through a tube as well as some wires, and the gas cap wasn’t sealed correctly. I can’t say with certainty that the people at Tom Roush reset the codes before selling us the van, but it seems likely, and at best unprofessional. At worst, unethical. I don’t expect a response from this company but if they do, they’ll probably blame me for not buying the warranty. Live and learn, I guess. There were some good things I could say. The manager was very kind and entertained our kids while we were shopping for the van. If he wants to give me a call with an actual solution that provides us with a better experience, I would be happy to change my review. Buyer beware. Lots of empty promises.

When I went to look at the truck it was cold windy and rainy. I tried to look it over the best I could, looking for scratches and dents. Due to rain drops and weather I couldn’t really examine it that well. One thing that was obvious was the hood needed fixing. They said they would fix that, and it should only take a couple days. I traded in 2 vehicles plus added a significant amount of cash and purchased the truck. They kept the truck and gave me a loaner. After 3 weeks, the truck was finally fixed. When I went to pick it up, it was all cleaned up and ready. I did a walk around and noticed all kinds of little scratches and dents all over. I also noticed the back half of the truck was a different shade than the front, most likely from an accident repair I wasn’t told of. I would have never went through with the purchase had I seen all these things before. Maybe it was my fault because I didn’t say anything, but I thought I couldn’t really say much because I made the purchase already and it was over 3 weeks ago. Although they were very nice, in the end I just am not happy with the purchase that I paid way too much for.

Just Ok. Tyler did a great job showing us several cars. This was our 3rd car purchased at Tom Roush Mazda. Unfortunately terms of purchase were not as stated. We gave them a chance to correct their mistake, they failed. Customer service was not a priority. Car was not cleaned as promised. How do you not clean a $30,000 car before you sell it? All in all not the dealership we have frequented the past 15 years.

For background, I contacted a salesman named Brent Cassidy more than a month and a half ago and after getting approved for financing I was ready to move forward; This dealership ghosted me for one and a half months for a vehicle I was already approved for and then called me saturday morning at 7:20 am in telling me that I need to get there by monday morning (i live in texas, 1500 miles away) that they have me approved and wanted to sell me the car, but didnt want someone to snatch it up from me since I applied a month and a half ago. Then i keep contacting them and I find out a lady from kentucky was going to make the drive on monday to purchase the vehicle but did not put a deposit (this dealership only holds vehicles for one day with a non refundable deposit) and the salesman told me they could not hold it for me, keep in mind the drive alone is 20 hours from Texas. In any case, it is unprofessional and scummy for 1. The Other lady who was going to purchase the vehicle, as the dealer is encouraging me to put a deposit to basically prevent her from buying the car with what they had agreed on, and 2. The dealership essentially ignored me for a month and a half then asks me to show up next day from the other side of the country or I will not get the car. I think this dealership is shady and scummy at worst, and deeply unprofessional and incompetent at best. Please buy from them at your own risk, as you are competing for the "privilege" of being a customer; and if deemed inadequate or the salesman is not invested in you, even after being approved and essentially only needing to sign, they will ignore and ghost you then pressure you to buy a next day flight to purchase the vehicle (unless it was already sold to begin with and they wanted to sell me something else after making the flight across the country or switch up the interest rate.) If you need any evidence and information on this take feel free to email me and I will happily tell you everything i know from this dealership and show you evidence that all of this happened.

Great person..no pressure.. explains everything ..main thing is he works with you to get the deal that your happy with. We drove away with our 2023 soul red CX30...Will be back in 26.. Serviced my vehicle 2015 mazda cx-9 at this dealership November 2023. Did all the regular maintenance and they never informed me that the water pump should be changed as a preventative maintenance. Now fast forward to Feb 2024, check engine light turned on. Took it to two different local service centers and found out that water pump failed resulting in coolant leakage into engine. The engine is shot and I ended up trading my vehicle. I am never going to own a Mazda again.

A little background: I lost my car in a freak accident with a racoon somehow caused my hybrid to catch on fire and I was out of a car for over 2 months. I spent a few weeks shopping for a new vehicle, and I decided to get a used Honda. I saw a few Accords but the one I saw at Tom Roush Westfield's used car lot was not only pretty clean looking, but it was convenient (I was working up the street at the time). I went to buy the vehicle and the staff was actually very accommodating and friendly. I was over not having a vehicle at this point, so I didn't do what I needed to do. Test the brakes, ask about the tires and features, etc. I drove it around the block and said, "okay this is great!" I got the car and drove off. What I didn't realize at this point was the brakes and tires had not been changed. The rear-view camera was damaged. The shroud over the front driver's side tire was torn which made the shroud break. The shroud breaking made the bumper loose as they're all clipped together. My wife drove the car once and very slightly scraped over a concrete barrier and the entire bumper tore off. Since then, even minor inclines or bumps that wouldn't be an issue now are, as the bumper sags even after being reattached. So why review this business two years later? I work from home and I decided to look for work outside of the house and guess who has to drive this $23,000 headache? I never even received my 2nd key I was promised they'd look for. At this point, it's moot but I feel like every experience should be catalogued.

Tom Roush has been excellent to us. They kind of "inherited" all of the issues we obtained after buying a used Mazda from another non-Mazda dealership. Luckily our car is still under warranty, but they have been great at finding the issues and resolving them quickly. Jon in the service department has been awesome to deal with. Highly recommend.

Fair, honest pricing for service! We had a bad experience at another Mazda dealer for service and when our 2018 6 needed a diagnostic I decided to bring it here since the reviews were good. And the reviews were right! I thought them sending a video of the inspection findings was so cool and informative; in all the years I’ve had Mazdas, I’ve never had that! My service writer Jon was kind, informative, and so understanding when it came to explaining what needed to be done and what we could wait on based on cost. Being able to text him and see what’s happening was also so convenient. Getting a loaner when the work was expected to take a few days was hassle free. And our car was done right on time! She runs like a dream now! Every person I came in contact with at this dealership was polite and friendly. Thank you to everyone here, I will be back for any of my Mazda needs!
