Fillip Beyl was great and very helpful. The finance manager was your standard finance manager and I am sure he did exactly what you wanted and got me to buy the overprice protection plan and talked me out ot taking the 2.9% for 60 months from Mazda and into taking $2500 at 5.64% for 72 months from CapitalOne which will cost me over $1000 in extra interest. I am sure you will get your kickback from the bank. He played the standard monthly payment trick and I was too dumb to ask for the out the door price. The car was not a bad price, same as all the other dealers. Next time I will just go to a local dealer or try buying it off the internet.

I’m sure most of you know the term “used car salesman”, this is not how anyone is at Mazda in Westfield. Our sales associate Jordan Brown helped us pick out our new CX 5. During the process we sent text and emails with our questions. If Jordan was with customers and couldn’t get back to us within several hours, then the GM sent us an email answering the questions. Every single person at Mazda that we came into contact with was honest, open and not at all pushy. WOW how nice to find a Dealer with these attributes. Asked what paperwork or information I needed to bring in for our appointment the next day, and I was told no need to bring anything. Came in for my appointment the next afternoon, and the initial salesman had me work with a different salesman bc he was selling a car to someone he met earlier that week. The new salesman, Roger, was amazing! I told him that I’d like to purchase, and asked about my current vehicle; he listed all of the documentation that was needed. I feel that I wasn’t taken seriously, bc why would I be told nothing needed the first time? I work long days and work an hour away, so my valuable time was wasted. I planned to walk out with a new vehicle that night. I went to another dealership and bought a brand new 2025 SUV. If I’d worked with Roger from the start, I’m sure my experience would’ve been different. But it is what it is!

After test driving Honda CR-V, Toyota Camry, Nissan Rogue and a Infinity QX-30 over the past 3 weeks did I consider researching and test driving the CX-5. I thought this was important to share. I happened to be in the Indianapolis area for the weekend (from PA) and I plan to buy a car in the near future. I was considering Mazda and had some time to browse the dealership. The salesman, Roger, promptly came out, greeted us and spent time showing us any model we were interested in and answered any questions possible. We did explain to him that we weren’t in the position to buy a car that day and we didn’t want to waste his time. This did not change Rogers customer care. He continued to show us options and provide information. I dearly wish that I was able to buy a car that day, but sadly I was only in the area for the day. I will be choosing Mazda because of Roger and believe that he deserves to know that he provided the best customer service possible!

If you are looking to buy a new SUV: Go to Tom Roush Mazda and try a CX5. We've been driving Honda CRVs for years, and Mazda's doing SUVs as good or better than Honda (and the CX5's are just way cooler, IMO). And if you're thinking about a Nissan, go in and ask for Andre Kennedy. He was our sales agent for the CX5, and is so good he's been promoted to manage the Nissan operation at Tom Roush in Westfield. We are not certain if he ever sleeps. If you get any other vehicle, people might cover it with Post-It notes, and you don't want that to happen.

I visited several lots. At each lot, I explained my circumstances and my parameters. The salesmen at all of the lots were friendly and helpful. None of them even attempted to talk me into expanding my parameters. I never felt any pressure from any of them to look at a particular car outside of my parameters or to expand my parameters. Tom Roush had a larger inventory of cars that met the parameters I had than any of the other lots. Both salesmen I worked with were conscientious to find the best car that would meet my needs and fit the parameters I had established. The car was actually slightly outside my financial parameters, but they worked to make it fit. There was a problem with one of the tires, which they took care of while I went through the paperwork to buy it. Because they listened to my unique circumstances, we never had a need to haggle over price or financing. They just laid out my options and allowed me to decide. Overall, it was a really good experience.
